Club Activities

Sign up for activities at least 24 hours in advance. If you cannot attend cancel at least 24 hours in advance (if possible).  Out of respect for our instructors and members, we want to give 24 hours notice if scheduled events are cancelled or if number of attendees changes. Please stay at home if you're not feeling well. We don't get sick and you get better.

Cooking Class: Pesto Mania

Pesto is not just for basil any more! Come and try three easy recipes that can be used in many ways. You will have some to take home, too!

Taught by Meridithe Mendelsohn. Meredithe is the proprietor of Modern Larder, a cooking business that focuses on fast and fresh meals. Meridithe has been a caterer and personal chef for 15 years. She teaches cooking classes that are specifically for people who are interested in changing their eating style. Modern Larder refers to her use of modern appliances to enable faster preparation, not necessary but extremely helpful. For more information, go to www.modernlarder.net

 

Gilda's Music Mondays

"Ain't We Got Fun" Music Night: Do you love to sing along to old show tunes? Do you play an instrument, or did you play one long ago and want to take it up again? All levels of skill are joyfully welcome. Join us at the Clubhouse on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month for singing, making music, and laughter! Kids' Kitchen

Yoga

Enjoy conscious breath with flowing movement in these gentle yoga classes. Nurturing and restorative. No experience necessary. For people of all physical abilities. Please wear comfortable clothing. 

Yoga for Mind & Body with Brian

Yoga means union - mind and body, breath and movement, joy and life.  It's an ancient science that blends well with the modern and besides all that, it can be darn right fun! Join us for an exploration of the classic practices of physical movement, breathing exercises, and meditation. Find ways to relax, relieve tension, improve energy, and feel better.  Every session is led with an effort to meet you where you are, with a practice accessible for every fitness level: no prior experience (or bodies made out of pretzel dough) required. Please wear comfortable clothes. Yoga mats are available for use during class.

Brian is a Judge Advocate in the US Air Force Reserves a push over of a dad to an enlightened buddha-beagle named Gilligan.  Born in Texas, Brian moved to Seattle in 2012 to get away from all that warmth and sun.  He is a certified yoga instructor and has been  practicing yoga over 8 years.
