What We Do

Welcome to Gilda's Club Seattle. We are so glad that you have chosen to see how this unique Program of support works for the thousands of people who come to Gilda's Club to learn how to live with cancer. If you or a family member or friend has cancer, our web site will show you a Program that will give you the social and emotional support you already feel that you need -- support that is probably missing from your life, if you are like many of us. At our warm and friendly Clubhouse we build that support together -- at no cost. Men, women, children, families, and friends -- all of you are welcome.

Family Focus

From the moment of a cancer diagnosis, the whole family is impacted. Each individual in the family has concerns - but just what are they? How to handle them? Not every family can sit down together to work things out.

We invite you to gather your self-identified family at the Clubhouse - parents, grandparents, children, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors and anyone else you call "family" - to meet with a qualified facilitator and talk about the issues at hand. Any staff person can help you set up a Family Focus meeting with a Gilda's Club social worker.
